Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Amman, Jordan

Nationality: Jordanian or Syrian

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our esteemed consultancy firm in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in structural design within a consultancy office. We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in utilizing advanced software tools to deliver high-quality, innovative designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the structural design process for various projects, ensuring compliance with international and local standards.

Develop and review structural designs and drawings using software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and Revit.

Collaborate with other teams, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and sustainable design solutions.

Conduct structural analysis and calculations to support design decisions.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support.

Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of project milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural design within a consultancy office (experience as a contractor or site engineer is not applicable).

Expertise in using structural design software such as, AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and Revit.

Proven record as a structural designer with successful project completions.

Strong knowledge of international and local building codes and standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

Must be located in Amman, Jordan.

Jordanian or Syrian nationality only.

Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
